1. Who we are
EnLup is operated by QYNETIC TECHNOLOGY LTD (London, United Kingdom). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use enlup.com or the EnLup iOS app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google or Apple and choose to share them. Apple may provide a private relay email address when you choose Hide My Email.
- Learning data — the videos and X creators you add, subtitles generated from them, saved words, practice results and grammar submissions.
- Billing data — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only keep your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
- Usage data — minimal technical records needed to operate and improve the service (for example, AI credit balances, daily usage counters, feature interactions, and device identifiers used for analytics).
- Sign-in provider data — when you choose Google or Apple sign-in, the provider processes your authentication request. The Google Sign-In SDK may process account details (including name, email, or phone number), user and device identifiers, coarse location, and usage data to provide sign-in and measure service performance. We do not request your precise location.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to provide the service: generating bilingual subtitles, looking up words, running practice drills, syncing your wordbook across devices, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Third-party processors
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google and Apple — optional account sign-in. Google also supports translation and AI features. Subtitles you submit may be sent to Google or DeepSeek to produce translations.
- Vercel — website hosting and usage analytics.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in codes by email.
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account in the iOS app under Me → Danger Zone, or request deletion by contacting us. Associated learning data is deleted with the account, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons (for example payment records). Email requests are handled within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your interface language and theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
